Tuesday Tips #277 – Find Your Feature

If you are new to the gallery world and don’t necessarily come equipped with a set of references to get your foot in a door or two, a juried show hosted by one of your favorite galleries may be just the start your looking for. Juried shows are not for the faint of heart and in order to push through the process, you will need to be prepared for the assessments and critique coming your way. That being said, they are an excellent way to get your work seen by multiple galleries and being selected by a juror in a show should be seen as a major feather in your hat! Do your research, follow the guidelines and stick your neck out; it can only push you further along!

“Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.”
-T. S. Eliot
