Tuesday Tips #276 – Find Your Feature

While you are working hard at attending gallery shows and creating relationships with the curators, don’t forget to also continue to post onto your Instagram and Facebook accounts every day, sharing as much as possible. Galleries love to see that you have an audience, and most of all, that you interact with your audience because it shows that along with your unique work, you also come with a built in following that will love to see your work in person.

“The truth is that we don’t need everyone to like us; we need a few people to love us. Because what’s better than being roundly liked is being fully known – an impossibility both professionally and personally if you’re so busy being likable that you forget to be yourself.”
-Jessica Valenti
