Tuesday Tips #278 – Find Your Feature

This month we’ve discussed some new tips on how to work your way towards getting featured in your favorite local gallery but if eyes on your work is your main objective, it may be time to rethink your idea of a gallery. Upsale eateries and cafes are always on the hunt for artwork from local artists to be displayed on their walls. As long as your subject matter fits with the decor of the space, it could be a great opportunity to capture the attention of even more people than you would at a local gallery. As we well know, art can be found in the most unexpected of places so if it feels like a good fit, chat with the owner about how you may fit in.

“As soon as you open your mind to doing things differently, the doors of opportunity practically fly off their hinges.”
