Do I have to be in business to be a forum member?
Great question – heck no! In fact, a great deal of our forum members are hobbyists. we love having a mixture of creative professionals bloggers and those that are simply shooting for the fun of it!
What is the differences between the workshop seats?
Active seats offer the full benefits of the online workshop: students get to participate within the workshop section, ask questions, email the teacher and get critique on their assignments where applicable from the teacher(s).
Silent seat students will be able to view all of the workshop material but cannot ask questions, email the teacher(s) or render critique on their assignments.
Alumni student seats are available to past students (both active and silent) that have previously taken the same workshop they are signing up for. Alumni are able to join discussions, ask questions and email the teacher(s). They will also be able to post their assignments in a designated alumni workshop section but will not receive critique from the teacher(s). Please note: Alumni seats require proof of purchase for the original workshop seat.
All students (active, silent and alumni) will receive the workshop PDF where applicable.
What makes your forum different from the others?
We believe that we are different because we have some of the most supportive members you will ever come across online! We work extremely hard to design our community around and for members who not only want to learn but also want to teach what they have learned, give back and encourage others along in the process.
Can I discuss business related questions on the forum?
Of course! In fact, we have an entire section with hundreds of threads dedicated to all things business. We pride ourselves on being a place where everyone can share and brainstorm their business and marketing ideas with one another.
Can I view the forum from my phone or tablet?
We know many of our members are busy and constantly on the go, so thankfully Bloom works with TAPATALK‘s functionality to help enhance the mobile experience.

Do your members get together for local meetups?
Yes, as a matter of fact they do! We have a special section inside the forum so you can connect with other photographers in your area and meet face-to-face.
Do you have an affiliate program?
Our loyal members spread the word like wild fire and with fans like that- we had to find a way to say thank you! Every time someone signs up via your affiliate banner and/or link, our members receive an 18% commission on the amount of sale. In order to take advantage, new members must sign up via a unique affiliate banner and/or link. Unfortunately, we cannot reimburse if the banner or link to join Bloom is not used. Don’t worry though- its super easy to become an affiliate! Just click on subscriptions link at the top of the forum and login using the your username and password, the same one used on the forum. Once logged in, click on ”advertise our website to your friends and earn money”. Simply copy the code to a banner of your choice and/or the link and paste it in a blog post, add it to your site’s siderbar, Facebook it, tweet it, etc! All affiliate payouts will be sent out at the end of each month via Paypal so you must have a Paypal account in order to be paid correctly. Account information can be added by clicking on affiliate info and then updating the commissions payout.
How do I submit a workshop/course/content to Bloom?

Do I need certain equipment to join The Bloom Forum?
Nope! If you have an internet connection, that’s all you need! Although, we can’t promise you won’t start lusting over a new camera body, lens or a stylish camera bag though. We know once you join in on the forum, you’ll catch the photography bug in no time.

Do I have to be a member to participate in a workshop?
Yes, our workshops are only available to Bloom Forum members. Once you see what all we offer, we are sure that when you join Bloom, you’ll wish you had joined sooner.
Is there a certain time the workshops run each day?
Nope. That’s the best thing about online workshops with Bloom; our teachers develop a work at your own pace schedule within the allotted workshop dates. The only thing that may have a due date are workshop assignments. And no worries if you reside in another country, people from all over the globe participate in our workshops!
What are the benefits of joining the forum?
There are a lot of benefits! Far too many to list so lets keep it to the mega important one- what’s better than an instant base of thousands of peers and cohorts to bounce advice off of, share feedback and gather inspiration together? When we started our goal was and always has continued to be to create a safe place for others to reside to grow and uncomplicate their creative process as a photographer.
What can I learn by being a member of forum?
The better question is what CAN’T you learn? We have tutorials that cover everything from basic material to the most advanced technical information. If you can’t find the answer to what you are looking for, just ask! On top of all the information you will find inside the forum, we offer specialized workshops at an additional cost to further your to supplement your specific needs even more.
Do you consider guest writers for your blog?
In an effort to increase our reach in and outside of our community, we are always looking for guest writer article submissions for Everything Bloom. If you have a special tip or lesson, big or small, that you would like to share with our vast readership, then we want to hear about it!

What is the difference between your Flourish courses and Bloom workshops?
Flourish courses are self-led courses via downloadable learning materials. Participants of our Flourish courses have a private section within the forum to connect and interact with other Flourish participants. They can also submit questions to the Flourish host anytime during the course duration in which the host will answer selected questions from the pool. A recorded Q & A video will be available after the course ends and will be available for download. The Flourish course section will be open for two months after the course ends for participants to gather and save information.
Bloom workshops are instructor lead, interactive classes that last over a 2-4 week duration. Students have daily interaction with the instructor and active/assignment students receive feedback on their assignments and have the ability to ask the instructor questions. Unique material is created for each Bloom workshop (PDFs, videos, assignments, lessons, etc) and is shared either daily or weekly depending on the instructor’s teaching preferences. The workshop will be open for two months after the workshop ends for students to gather and save information. Please note that the teacher will not be available to answer questions after the conclusion of the course.
