DIY Pallet Photo Frame
Who doesn’t love an easy DIY photo display idea? As a photographer, I have numerous framed prints and canvas groupings throughout my home. They are classic and beautiful but I do love to have unique displays as well. Here is one easy and inexpensive way to show off your favorite photos.
What you need:
1.) Weathered wood pallet (My local Walmart carries the 12” x 12” distressed gray in store, however you can find a 12” x 14” weathered wood option here on Amazon.)
2.) Mounting Tape
3.) Wall Hooks (Mine are no longer carried, but I think these and these are pretty darn cute!)
4.) Your favorite images on a hard mount surface (I cannot rave enough about Color Inc’s Vintage Mount. They are a quality product with a hard-backed Masonite board backing that is still light enough to be held by the mounting tape. I ordered in a 10” x 8” size.)
What to do:
This project is fairly straightforward. I cut the mounting tape so that it went all along the outside back edges of my Vintage Mount prints. Next, I carefully pressed the images onto the wood pallets. The hardest part of the project was hanging my hooks so that they were evenly spaced!
I love how these easy DIY photo project turned out. I can also swap out the images later on, without much of a cost burden. I love how this simple project brings a big smile to my boring laundry room!
