Session Spotlight – Sara K Blanko Photography

We’re applauding the surge of spring newborn home shoots we’re seeing lately! From beginning to end, these sessions seem to take on a far more natural, organic vibe than the alternatives. As photographers, when we are luck enough to meet our clients within their sacred family space, we are then given the rare opportunity to get a better sense of who they are and what they find important. This sweet newborn in-home session from San Antonio’s Sara K Blanko is a perfect depiction of this darling family’s first of many everyday beautiful moments together.

I live for lifestyle sessions, especially with a brand new baby. I love being able to peek into a family’s most sacred space, the living room where they snuggle on the couch, the nursery where they spent endless hours preparing for their little one. This session spoke to me because it brought back all those first time parent feelings I remember so intensely. Those first hazy days of sitting in your silent house staring at this new person who has changed everything and the overwhelming feelings of love you have for your partner who is in this journey with you.
