Tuesday Tips #271 – Embrace the Summer

Don’t look at us crazy but have you ever considered adding a prism to your camera bag? Here us out here because summer’s sun makes right now an awfully good time to give it a try! Simply pick up a prism like this one and hold it over your lens as you are shooting — try horizontal, vertical or even diagonal. Some photographers find it easier to decide where and how they like it in conjunction with the sun and their subjects by shooting in Live View Mode. As with all new creative endeavors, don’t get locked into one idea too much and don’t take it too seriously, chance has a beautiful way of lining things up for us!
