Tuesday Tips #283 – Making the Most of Fall

Another summer is behind us and we know we are not alone when we confess that we couldn’t be more ready for the change. Fall brings on such dynamic color variations that it is honestly our favorite season to shoot in the environments. If you’re planning a local outing or headed out on travel for shoots, the Fall Foliage Projection Map is ideal to help you scout where and when to head out. One of our favorite ways to play up the colors of the warm ornage and yellow leaves is to follow that color theory wheel and shoot against the clear blue sky like in the image above.

“I advise students on the subject of color as follows: If it looks good enough to eat, use it.”
