Tuesday Tips #289 – The Secrets of Panning

If there is one thing that is as equally important as your subject in your panning photograph, its your background. A cloudless sky or a plain white wall will render just that when you pan, leaving you with no movement to show. Steer clear of extreme contrasts in the background and remember that color and lights can create interesting lines that lead right to your subject. Keep it fun and experimental, you never know what will fall together until you try.
