Tuesday Tips #291 – The Secrets of Panning

If you have read all the tips and techniques on panning and you are still coming up empty on shots you’re happy with, practice makes perfect…or at least close to it! Grab your camera and head out to a corner of a busy intersection or a nearby track meet where you will have plenty of moving subjects for a good stretch of time. Tracking those moving subjects over and over again will help you iron out the technique so that when your next opportunity arises, you’ll know just what to do.
