Professional photography gear costs thousands of dollars but don’t fret, you can take stunning pictures by spending only a fraction of the cost. For the month of September, we will be sharing some cool photography hacks so if you have the time and the patience, then these simple DIY hacks can achieve awesome results with very little to no money spent.

Heart Shape Bokeh:
Supplies:
1. A camera and a large aperture lens.
2. One sheet of black paperboard.
3. Scissors and tape.

Steps:
1. Cut and shape the paperboard to make a fake lens hood. The diameter should be made so that it snugly fits on the lens.
2. In the middle of the paperboard, cut out a small heart.
3. Tape the paperboard to your lens making sure the heart is in the middle. If the paperboard fits without fall out, then there is no need to tape it to your lens.
4. Set your camera to its lowest aperture, figure out your settings for the best exposure and start shooting.
